To become a member of the New Mexico Podiatric Medical Association (NMPMA) and the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), the following steps must be followed:

  • Complete the membership application (Practicing DPM,Postgraduate,Student, Senior Member, Life Member). Online Application.
  • The application is approved by a vote of the NM board of trustees  and final processing and payment reconciliation will be done by APMA.
  • Initial dues payments can be made by check or credit care (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, or American Express) through APMA.
  • Processing is completed within one month.
Membership for students and residents is free! Dues for DPMs in practice range from $232 to $925, depending on the number of years in practice. New members' dues are prorated based on the month they join per the APMA membership year of June 1–May 31. NMPMA annual dues are $250 and are waived for Young Physicians starting practice in NM for their first year of membership.
